At the Minster Veterinary Practice, we are pleased to be able to offer CT scanning as one of our services.
What is CT?
CT (Computerised tomography) is a doughnut-shaped machine which uses rapidly taken x-rays and a computer to produce cross-sectional images of the required area.
A CT scan is a painless procedure which is a very useful diagnostic tool for a variety of complaints and paired with contrast dye, it can give some very detailed images of structures within the body.
We are happy to accept referrals from other Veterinary Practices for CT scans, but this must be done by your current Veterinary Surgeon, as a CT scan may not always be appropriate.
Referring vets can either contact us on 01904 643997 or fill in the form below and send to info@minstervets.co.uk
