The emergency service is called York Emergency Vets and is staffed by our dedicated team of night staff at our RCVS accredited hospital on Salisbury Road in York. These vets and nurses only work at night and over weekends and bank holidays, so they are fresh and ready to assist you and your pet should the need arise. The hospital is computer linked to all our other branches, this ensures our vets have access to your pet’s medical records irrespective of the time of night.
We offer 24/7 emergency cover for our registered clients. In the unfortunate circumstance that your pet needs emergency care outside our routine consulting times, rest assured we are on hand to provide any help required. All of the in-patients requiring overnight care are supervised round the clock, so your pet will not be left alone at night. Our team of ‘out of hours’ vets and nurses offer treatment and monitoring throughout the night and over weekends and bank holidays so you can be sure they are in good hands 24/7.
